Yin yoga works on your connective tissue (primarily fascia) and bones rather than your muscles and blood like other forms of physical activity. We also work with the meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine that link to our organs.

Anna will be leading you through a 1.5 Hour Yin Yoga practice, focusing on a specific organ and help bring balance back to the physical and also the subtle body (Chakras and Meridians).

Yin Yoga is the perfect yoga for pain relief and with time, it increases flexibility.

It is slow and meditative and is done mostly sitting or lying down. We sit in most poses between 3 and 5 minutes, so you will learn a lot about yourself. 

After your Yin practice, Anna will lead you through a lovely Yoga Nidra to finish. 
Yoga Nidra is also known as "Yogi Sleep" and if you are able to stay awake for the 30 minute  Yoga Nidra, it is equivalent to 3-4 Hours sleep.

Kundalini Yoga is also known as the yoga of awareness. 

Kundalini Yoga is an uplifiting blend of spiritual and physical practices. It incorporates dynamic breathing, meditation and the chanting of mantras with the goal being to build physical vitality and spiritual consciousness. 

 

Anna  will start by introducing Kundalini yoga, explaining the necessary steps to help activate our Kundalini energy, we will then work with pranayama, followed by a physical practice, relaxation and always ending with an 11 minute meditation, sometimes this can be a dynamic meditation where we are moving or maybe even singing.

 

So if you are looking to try something different this year or go even deeper into your practices, Kundalini Yoga might just be the thing for you.

Kundalini Yoga is suitable for complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
